For the past hour or so I've been crying on and off, for reasons honestly and truly unknown. There is literally nothing at all wrong with me (I'm fine - despite a teensy headache which is nothing I can't handle - as are family and friends, uni is finished for the year so I'm just floating around happily...) and yet tears just keep bubbling up. Maybe I just needed some kind of relief and that's where it's coming from but it just caught me off guard.

On another note, I'm home for a few days which is pretty awesome so far. It was mums birthday (I got her slippers, a dress for her holiday and I made her a mix cd for her car - front artwork and everything!) so we went out for a meal which was lovely - catch up with family and the neighbours. Then I went to meet the guys at The Matrix which was rad. We didn't go out out, but ended up trekking to the shop so they could get more beer (I just got a sandwhich instead hehe) and it was awesome. I enjoy hanging with the boy <3

Today, I spent the day with mum on her day off. We went to Wynsors (FINALLY got some plimsoles for a delightfully penny friendly price £2.50, and a cute pair of grey flats with flowers on. I do love shoes) then we went to my cousins and I was playing with the twins, cute as ever, on their newest toy - a  huge trampoline. Totally worn out from them begging me to carry them and jump, but it was all good fun. Then we went to my aunties and then Matalan (only got a top which will double as a skirt), then back to my aunties for a brewski. Came home, mum made some rad potato salad for tea, and we watched Britains Got Talent. Ace.

Mum's dyeing my hair tomorrow, I'm going brown now since the red just isn't taking and keeps fading super quick. Hopefully seeing the bro's again too.

I'm attempting to find a job for the summer too, in Sheffield, because I'd like to be living in our house since the rent will be paid for. As much as I love and miss my mum, she works constantly so when I am home I barely see her anyway. Plus, in the Sheff house, I'll be with awesome people. I mean, even if nothing comes along work wise, I know I've got my overdraft to fall back on so things aren't too bad. I'm so excited to move in, it's going to be amazing.

I'm hoping the summer will serve to give me some inspiration. I haven't wrote in months but I just can't seem to get any of my ideas down. I need to dig out the sewing machine so I can get making things, and maybe even sell things on etsy. We'll see how it goes I guess.

I am currently sat drinking a cheapo bottle of 3 litre cider, ah how I am reminded of the last few summers and the good times. I honestly can't wait for this summer. As much as I enjoy being at uni at the moment, I just can't wait to be outside, having a few drinkys with some awesome people. It's going to be good.

Yes, I am slightly toasted, the proof is right there in my blotchy chest which I tend to getwhen I'm drinking for some reason. I've only had two glasses (plastic cups actually) but I'm going on a cheap night out in a couple of hours. Well, when my friend and the rest of her troop make it to corp, that is. I'm out tomorrow night too I think, when I get home. It's weird but since I came to uni, I don't seem to go out half as much as when I lived back at home. I guess that makes the nights I do go on that bit better though because I usually have a chance to look forward to it.

I did some drawing today actually, only a couple of pictures that were pretty much half copies of an artist I like, half my own spin on them. I need to get back into the swing of it, I miss that sense of achievement I get when I finih something...Especially since writing is kinda fleeting at the moment...Myabe the summer can be my inspiration, muse, confidante, anything.

So...I've jumped on the Twilight train (the books, I'd like to stress, even though I'm somewhat smitten by the guy who plays Edward in the film...). I've only read the first one though and am in outcry at the mo because the libraries don't seem to even have copies of the others, boooo. It's been a while since I've been fangirly over something, I've missed it hehe.

I've been feeling kind of strange lately. Not like, ill strange, just kinda, butterflys in the stomach don't know what to think or feel kind of strange. I'm wondering if it's because I'm some kind of rutt maybe, but pretty much everything is going well at the mo - family, friends, uni etc. So it seems a little unexplainable really.

Maybe I just need some time at home or something. I'm going at the weekend for a couple of weeks since it's easter, then I have only two weeks left of uni and I'm done done done for the first year...apart from an exam but that's only at the end of May so i've got like nearly four months after that of summer tiiiiiime. I definitely need to begin my search for a job though, it's probably going to be difficult what with all of this 'recession' malarky but I guess I'll just pester as many shops in town as I can and hope for the best.

There's not a whole lot else to tell really, things are kinda dull I guess...Good of course, just dull. Definitely not a bad thing though

It's my freakin' buffdaaaaaay.

Officially, I am no longer a teenager.

Kinda sucks a little bit.

But I'm excited none the less.

This year, is going to be the year I do things.

That's that.

So, Christmas was good, yeah. I got my camera, and haven't had much chance to play yet but I can't wait. Fun fun. Also have my DS too, and I just can't stop buying games for it - I've got Cooking Mama, Chocobo Tales, Brain Training and I'm just waiting for Zelda and Animal Crossing from my internet orders. Woop.

New years, though there wasn't a party, was fun as far as I remember. Which kind of scares me a bit, because I'm sure I didn't drink that much, and I was only on beer. But seriously, I can't remember about two hours of the night, and I was unconcious and throwing up outside at one point. The bouncer was asking me if I was sure I wasn't spiked, and at the time I didn't think I had been, but thinking back now...everything seems a little suspicious. Luckily, all my friends were at the same place, and someone was looking after me.

Now, for this year, I want to motivate myself more to get healthy! BUt being veggie, and really enjoying vegetables and such, will hopefully help me do it in the food aspect - we all know crash diets don't work! I just need to find a resource for exercise, but who knows if that will happen.


People at work are pretty cool for the most part - despite two guys. One's a sleaze and one seems to be around every corner, giving me a dead weird smile and saying 'hiya!'. Oh welllll. Still no idea if I'm gonig to be kept on, though I keep getting asked to stay later, or work extra - like tomorrow, I'm working an extra 3 and a half hours, but I get a full hour for my dinner so I might do some more shopping, though I shouldn't but what the hey, it IS my birthday on saturday teehee.
